Wil Kelly brings a wealth of knowledge and over 25 years of experience coaching all three styles of wrestling and leading over 20 international exchanges. As a high school athlete, Kelly was a three-time undefeated champion in the state of Iowa, a national champion in freestyle and a national runner-up in Greco Roman.


In college, Kelly was a two-time All-American and an NCAA champion for the Wartburg College Knights. He competed on two of the best teams in the history of NCAA wrestling and was guided by coaching legends, Dan Gable and Jim Miller.


Kelly has been recognized as a distinguished member of four halls of fames, including the Iowa High School State Athletic Association, Wahlert Catholic High School, Wartburg College and the NWCA as a member of the record-breaking 2003 Wartburg squad.


As a coach, Kelly has served in numerous roles, including the state of Iowa kids' director, coaches' director and is the current UWW Open Director for Team Iowa/USA Wrestling.
